If this ground is so very "sacred", nothing should be allowed there -- no businesses of any kind, no strip clubs or Starbucks, no houses of worship of any kind, no offices, no residences, etc. And that 'sacred ground' should be equidistant in every direction from ground zero - in other words two blocks or four blocks or whatever in a gigantic square, with the site of the new world trade center smack in the middle. I was born in NY. I learned after a few months in the South to respond to the question "Where are you from?" with the answer "Well, which state do you hate the most?"

Invariably they replied "New York." (occasionally it was California, or for die-hard sports fans in GA, the rare "Florida" or "Alabama," but 99% of the time it was my homestate they hated most.)

They hate Yankees, many want to seceed from the North, and yet they care about a Muslim Community Center in the state they hate the most?
