my boss is worried. Our pest service business is based on being able to get to houses to do the services--we may have to raise rates.

5. I guess it's up to $3.35 in Omaha |
|
I've been home sick all day and this is making me even more sick.
I think sites like this are counter-productive in the long run because it encourages people to drive all over creation for the best deal, not considering that this extra consumption is contributing to higher prices, but on the other hand at least people know where to drive for the best deal and just have to go to one place. So I guess the site is helpful but the mindset is not.

10. I believe they need some Pepto Bismol as do I. |
|
They are rather bloated and they are nauseating me every time I see them. Last I checked, gas at the local neighborhood convenient store was around $2.93, but it was closer to $3.00 the other day. I remember when I thought $2.00 was high.

23. I think it was $2.95/gal. |
|
Filled up today, it was 2.95 or 2.96. It's about the going rate for near where I live, and spending 20 minutes driving around to save a penny a gallon for 6 gallons didn't make sense.
It was 2.93 to 2.95 over the weekend.

25. Well, Gas Prices and I had it out last night... |
|
I thought of having an intervention, but this smug little prick would just laugh it off.
So I confronted Gas Prices last night and it pretty much turned out the way I expected.
Gas Prices doesn't care about any of us and just to rub it in my face, Gas Prices inflated right before my eyes.
I told Gas Prices that I would take the bus, he laughed at me saying, "what do you think buses run on? Good intentions?" Oh I hate that self righteous face Gas Prices gets.
So then I said, "well screw you, I'll ride my bike!" He let out another belly laugh and barked out between guffaws, "and on the first rainy day you will be back in the car and not give your bike a second look ever again!"
Man, he got me steamed, but then I remembered something and dug it out from under a pile of papers on my desk and through it at him, "eat this!", I boomed
It was a flyer for the new light rail opening up in my neighborhood late this year.
Gas Prices sputtered something about it will never catch on or something like that, but this time I had the smug smile and Gas Prices just had a confused look on it's face as it slugged back it's beer.
