They say that the pastor burning Quarans in Sept. 11th puts our troops in danger.
But so does bombing innocent homes and villages and occupying nations.
Isn't our troops in Iraq using the Quaran as toilet paper already inflamed the Islamic community already?

He's going to burn "crayons". Not Korans. Crayons. Crayola should be pissed.

3. Yeah, it makes no sense to me to be making such a mountain out of a molehill. |

Then today I heard on one of the afternoon MSNBC shows that the entire congregation is only like 15 members. It's ridiculous, it's distracting everyone from the real issues of our nation (AGAIN), and if everyone would quit reporting on it, it would pass with little effect. Personally I could care less if they burn the Koran or the Bible or any other religious texts (excepting of course any original copies, I suppose). But geez, we've done a whole lot more to promote their (radical Islamists) agenda through military than this would.
Oh! I notice you didn't mention, but wouldn't you also add our treatment of detainees both at Gitmo and abroad? I mean really, why hasn't anyone warned judges in this country or the DoD about how their actions have and continue to put our troops in danger?

humanity is f--ked up to me. When we show the darkest sides of ourselves who do we impress? I feel military power or riches, does not prove might. But there are those who think different. I do know that time and time again when we engage in war or war like missions it is usually for the money. I love my country and its people even though I don't always agree with everything that is put before me. But I find it disheartening when the people are not a country's first concern.

6. this book burning thing is no big deal being made into something huge for nothing |
|
some nutcase wants to burn some books for publicity sake. harry potter, phone books, korans, bibles, they are all just books. it is NOT a government or state sanctioned matter so all that burn books leads to burn people is just baloney IMO. Religions that cannot take criticism are not much of a religion at all. Too much hysteria over nothing really
