DoD Buzz: Efficiencies Begin to Bite; 600 Execs Leaving Lockheed
unhappycamper note: Since the ‘Pentagon’ has ‘requested’ that I only post one paragraph from articles on Army Times, and Airforce Times, I’ve decided to give ya’ll an unhappycamper summary of the article and a link to the OP. To keep in that same (new) tradition, I will also do the same for for articles on Navy Times, Marine Corps Times, stripes.com and military.com.

Bottom line for the company is that, while the executives contributions were praised by CEO Bob Stevens, their departures will “enable us to achieve significant cost savings and a leaner management structure at a time when our customers have an urgent need for more affordable solutions to the global security challenges they face.”

... just a “Natural Course of The Business Cycle" ... my ass! :eyes:

I can think of a better use of that money, like retrain and give jobs to veterans.
