3. exactly. and to a certain extent, i don't think many of them want things to change.

they get a lot of money from the corporations and lobbyists just like the republicans. plus they can both keep promising us this list of things they will do if we elect or re-elect them to power and they move the ball a little this way and a little that but never quite getting to the end goal. now, the republicans rammed a lot through when dubya was awarded the presidency. but for some reason the dems just can't get out of their own damned way.
