Email virus going around ("Here you have") |
|
It hit worldwide today (including NASA)... our hospital and the medical school both got hit. The subject heading is "Here you have" and it will be "from" someone you know http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/virus-mail-spreads-online/story?id=11596433

Which, by the way, still, and always, rule.
The punctuation on that one is a toss up.

As soon as I got the first one, I went office to office telling folks not to open any of them. Sadly, I didn't get to one office fast enough. csrss.exe is where this one is hiding by the looks of it on that terminal.

5. People who create and/or knowingly propogate viruses (virii?)... |
|
...are anti-social dickwads who should be sentenced to 1 week in jail for every computer their masturbatory bullshit program infects. With no possibility of parole.

I think some of the big AV companies have people about that create/issue viruses at times. Provide the problem and solution.

and we did experience a hiccup in network activity during work hours today, but the thing never landed in my inbox...neither my work email or personal...that's unusual.

12. TY for the heads up. Fortunately I'm a Mac user; plus I never open "free offers"... |
|
... especially of sex videos :eyes: Spam claiming to have documents for me is also routinely trashed; the only thing I made an error on was a recent Amazon.com phish, which I opened because I actually do order from Amazon.
I will send the article to Mr Hekate, because he uses them in his classroom where he teaches future programmers and network admins.
