1. About time
The L.A. Stations were providing more coverage than the supposed 24 hours news networks.

Edited on Fri Sep-10-10 12:57 AM by nadinbrzezinski
the other 24 hour station (at least during the week) has not broken off from repeats. Oh and that is not fox, I just checked on them... (MSNBC if anybody needs translation)

4. That does not shock me
that is the overnight. But our 24\7 stations, two out of three, just go there.

7. oh, you're absolutely right
plus it's very tv-friendly, to use that in a very morbid sense.

This seems to be an ongoing problem. CNN.com will have breaking news within minutes, but the TV channel ignores it until whatever talk show they have running is over

8. MSNBC is worst
:-)

I just do my media analysis...

As I like to put it... they found their ass with both hands.

10. "they found their ass with both hands"
or as I heard it, he couldn't find his own ass with both hands and an ass map.

9. No shit
I thought NorCal had dropped off of the map for a few hours there.

At last look, HuffPo still had nothing. CNN was quite late to the game.

I usually leave my office between 8-9pm, and my route home is on the freeway that was shut down during those hours. But today I had to pick up my car and drop off a rental at the repair place in Redwood City, so I left at about 5. It happened just before I got home.

Meanwhile, if there's some 4.2 jiggler in a fairly remote part of the state, with no injuries and little damage or impact, it's all over the national news seemingly within the hour.

Odd that this took so long to get national news coverage. Are the NY mainstream media news corps (pun intended) all tucked in for nighty-night dreamland at 9:15 Eastern time?

14. Believe it or not, it LED MoJo today
Then they went on to the nutjob FL pastor, and how Pat Buchanan and Donny Deutch want the President to send U.S. Marshals to arrest him (for the sake of the troops), over Mika's objections.

Buchanan seems to think he's still in the Nixon WH. He said Obama should just tell the AG he's making the arrest, and order the AG to work out the legal details.

Oh, and Mika disagrees strongly with Trump's buyout offer stunt for the Park51 property, and appealed several times on air for Trump to call her.

Mika just announced that Trump will call in in 20 min. (about 4:50 PDT).
