all grouped together marching down the middle of the road. The conservatives are all OBEDIENTLY standig in line on the sidewalk. I say that shows Liberals are free thinkers and march sto support what they believe in, & conservativesare ORDER TAKERS who alwys just do as their told!

50. Not only that, but there are far more older people in the

conservative photo, whereas there are all ages in the other photo. It really pisses me off to see older teabaggers. They rant and scream against the very government from which they receive social security and medicare. Medicare being especially important because the private for-profit insurance industry that they so laud and worship wants nothing to do with them and can't get rid of, or deny altogether, older people fast enough. You wanna talk about "death panels"? And yet these same people would never even consider not having social security and medicare and would scream bloody murder at any attempt to take them away.

It reminds me of a brilliant line in a recent ltte in the local paper here: "People don't want government health care interfering with their own government health care." IOW, I've got mine, fuck you, even though YOU'RE paying for it and can't access it yourself.

24. I wish I could remember WHO, but I saw this posted by a DUer about a year ago.

It originally had "Conservatards" in place of "Conservatives", but someone suggested they change it to be less offensive/more effective. Although the original did not use Comic Sans... if I can find it, I'll post it for comparison. LOVE the picture either way, myself. It was my desktop for a good month or two. :)

Because in the reality-based world (not religiously/emotionally-based as most conservatives think) abortion saves some women. And universal health care is surely less expensive than the bloated pre-reform system and much much less expensive than unnecessary, maybe illegal wars.
