2. I can't wait until this hurricane season is over.

I wish they would all fizzle out before they get to land...especially without hurting anyone or making anyone else homeless. I hate hurricane season and tornadoes. :scared:

P.S. I always pronounced it Ee-gor. Is there more than one way to pronounce it? Or is this another case of me making shit up as I go along because I read it somewhere and didn't know the correct pronunciation? :dunce:

It's ee-rak not eye-rack. I've spent many years in the Middle east and it makes me cringe when I hear soldiers who have spent 3 or 4 tours of duty there still pronouce it incorrectly. Iran is ee-ron not eye-ran. In most of the world the letter "I" is pronounced the same way we Americans say "E".
