Local Koran Burning and Church Walk

The founder of the Tyranny Response Team Duncan Philip is planning to burn a copy of the Koran on the steps of the State Capitol this Saturday at Noon.

Philip said he is also protesting the location of the Islamic center being built near Ground Zero in New York and is against President Obama's support for the location.

Philip is declaring September 11th "National Burn a Koran Day" and says he will "burn the Koran on the steps of the Capitol building of Wyoming in Cheyenne at high Noon," on his Web site.
Meanwhile, members of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Cheyenne are planning a walk from their church to the State Capitol on Saturday to protest the burning of the Koran by Duncan Philip's Tyranny Response Team.
