3. I commented about it last night
it took CNN (for example) five hours to find it's ass with both hands and an ass map... ditto for FOX... MSNBC... until the morning.

And even then they had to use one of their overseas CNN International anchors because I guess they couldnt get one of their US anchors into the studio.

if they had LOCAL coverage too... which they studiously avoided. I avoided FOX beyond the... yep, found a map... didn't you boys?

9. It kind of bugged me that I had to listen to an Australian lady for a fire here in the US
Especially from a news channel that has dozens of on air people in Atlanta, NYC, and LA Ca. (dont they have phones in case something big breaks?) , and (as is standard practice) contracts with local channels across the country to carry live local news.

7. I know. I still don't think the impact of this...
...has broken through to people.

The idea that an entire California suburban neighborhood, just like most suburban neighborhoods, could be obliterated like that within minutes...

...and the media either doesn't think it worth the coverage OR is so incompetent that they have no one assigned to make such a decision after 5 p.m. EST...just floors me. REAL PEOPLE lived in those houses. People coming home from work or school or having dinner or watching TV...and they're GONE.

It's 24 hours later, and they are not here anymore...but our cable media is covering some jerk in Florida. NONSTOP.

What ever happened to common sense. JUDGEMENT. REAL news.

5. Anyone else see a coincidence there?

Brew no burning?

I wonder about stuff like that.

Although most of the time there are two ways to see things, and many correlations seem to occur to create other thoughts or ideas also.

So might depend how you see it.

Side note, I am still due money for beer and travel, and will have a good enjoyable time.

Why Worry

Note: That is not something I think is a good thing to happen. I wonder if some person caused that, most of the time correlations appear to try and distort someones thoughts on things. As posted in this thread.

So many use distortions, although there are correlations without causation also.

The song in this post mentioned something burning, stuff like that happens alot.

If you read all the posts it makes more sense.

14. The Weather Channel was one of the first that broke the news nationally.
When I first saw the footage, I had to do a double-take, because I thought it was the Colorado fire. Then I saw they were talking about California, and it certainly did NOT have the look of a forest fire.

Not sure of the exact time, but I think it was somewhere shortly after 10:00 pm Eastern time. Naturally, I then turned to CNN and then the other cable news.......NOTHING. I thought that really strange. I then went back to watching the coverage on the Weather Channel.
