4. Awesome view!
I wish I took that beautiful sunset picture on our way out of Puerto Vallarta. That was a beautiful setting, and I had the camera, and I was eating dinner, watching the sunset.

I couldn't go up to the aft deck fast enough to take that pic. Oh well, that's for another cruise.

Thanks for the pics, DemoTex.. remember, if you're coming my way, I owe ya a beer. I'm in Denver :)

If I come through Denver, I'll PM you ahead of time - but I think I'll be farther south.

21. Wow! Thanks for posting these! Doesn't this just blow your mind?
I found it amazing, working with a telescope last month, to try to wrap my brain around the idea of ALL THIS ASTOUNDING STUFF going on just beyond view out there in space. As Jean-Luc Picard said during the opening of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" - "let's see what's out there!" Saw an Io shadow transit on Jupiter - almost knocked me off my feet!

Comments are unnecessary...there are no words to describe something this beautiful. Thank you so much for posting these breathtaking photos. It must be amazing to be there. I would give anything to see the night sky you must be treated to every clear evening.

Thanks again...

I saw that last night and thought about getting the camera out but I was too far from the house to make it back in time (lot of trees around here).

The colors are - IMO - from the latent smoke (drift smoke) out to the west. The Phoenix Fire at Crater Lake is still puffing up. big time.

ANOTHER new-moon-setting photo op! Tonight's (Saturday - day after these pics) was awesome also (it set over Mt. Thielsen). I'll post them in the morning, along with some buzzard photos from earlier today.
