Religious tolerance is the price you pay for religious freedom. |
|
That's just the way it is here in the United States of America.
Those who would provoke and inflame the passions of other religious fanatics best prepare themselves for the inevitable whirlwind.
What would the Prince of Peace want?

And more than that, what protects us is the diversity of worship and even non-worship. That's how you get Mormon Hatch coming out for the Ground Zero NOTAMOSQUE. The more religions we have, the safer we all are.
Mormons and Muslims are praying all over this town. Which is why I get really pissed off when people screech this is a freedom of religion issue. Or get gooey over the wonderfulness of Muslim clerics and culture as they never would for Catholics or Baptists or Episcopalians. We wouldn't be so unquestioning of their noble motives if we thought they were us, equals, the same. We don't trust our own an inch. But we trust these beauties.
