In this week's edition of The Main Line Times (suburban Philly - the R5 Septa line, now, the old Pennnsylvania Railroad in the glory days), the front page of the Accent on People Section features a pictorial concerning those involved at the pinnacle of the committees of the Devon Horse Show at their annual Ball. Now here in Philly, this is one of the biggest events of the year celebrating the other biggest event, (with the possible exception of the very-big-deal debutante ball)and you'll never in a million years guess the name of the Event:

Black Tie and Boots Ball

Now if I recall, your President wore Boots rather famously to the White Tie and Tails formal dinner for Queen Elizabeth back in 1991. Who knew he was a Philadelphia Main Line kind of guy?
