I want to hear the wingnuts take up for Bush not giving the troops a pay raise
as a matter of fact, I'm dying to hear their defenses.

3. So, what's the big deal about serving in Iraq?
Lots more people get killed at home every year in car accidents. Anyway, they're all volunteers so they shouldn't be greedy. Isn't it enough that they get the honor of serving their country? They're just lower class people who wouldn't know what to do with the money anyway. It's unreasonable to expect us to raise their pay and then have to provide all kinds of free medical care for them after they come back without their legs and all messed up in the head and stuff.

Any other questions?

6. I've got a good one ... and it's something that they used a few years back ...
Remember, a number of years back, a few Repukes were getting their panties (yes, the male ones wearing womens' underwear ... Rudy?) in a bunch because someone proposed paying volunteers.

The Repukes got upset because "volunteers are not supposed to be paid" ...

Remind someone who points out that they have argued that all the soldiers over there are "volunteers" ... and by their own definition, "volunteers aren't supposed to be paid" ... so why aren't they leading the charge to not pay the soldiers a single penny?

8. Old Barb Bush will prolly say:
Those soldiers are lucky that they have a great home in the Military. They could be homeless like some that deserted the Military.
