About a year ago, our daughter was arrested and falsely accused of a felony by partisan Republican prosecutors in Williamson County, Tx. We hired a very competent attorney to ensure that her civil rights were protected and to ensure her right to a fair trial. We experienced many rescheduled court dates and bureaucratic red tape throughout this experience. Throughout the last year we have worked extra hours at our jobs, depleted our savings, and obtained a second mortgage on our home. We have expended all of our financial resources and desperately need more funding to continue our fight for her freedom. This is our last resort. We can win this fight with your help. Something similar happened to my own daughter and it took over five years to get it straightened out, if she hadn't married the son of a high ranking police officer it probably never would have.

Not discussing the case doesn't include mentioning what she was charged with unless it's so early on that no charges have been brought yet. What the charges are, if any have been brought, is already public knowledge and not what the attorneys mean by not discussing the case.

Honestly, I think you would get a better donation response if people knew the bare minimum of what this is about which would include what this felony she apparently being railroaded for is. Otherwise, I think people may be suspicious of why you would be holding back that information which, if she has been charged already, would be public knowledge anyway and be tempted not to donate for that reason. I may be wrong, but I believe this is the reason why people are asking what the felony charge(s) is/are.
