16. Compare the faces to the faces of a teabagger rally

Looks like we have most of the normal looking, intelligent folks on our side. Unfortunately the teabaggers have the under 90 IQ crowd, which is quite a lot of people! Of course I'm speaking in generalities and from my personal perspective - I could be wrong.

33. The young man who spoke at the noon rally

is from Morocco, but has been working in Southeast Alaska for the past three years. He was up here in Anchorage for a few days, happened to drive by our protest on Saturday and was moved to join us. He spoke eloquently about his own respect for the good people of America and the Christian religion and how he doesn't understand the motivation for this recent anti-Muslim sentiment. He was at the evening protest, too, and we talked quite a while about respect and tolerance and how Americans are viewed in the Middle East. I was reassured when he said that most people over there like Americans -- it's just some of the policies of our government that upsets them.

So the truth is they DON'T hate us for our freedoms. They don't hate us at all.

I really loved seeing these. In addition to the obvious, they gave me a sort of homesick feeling...lol. I lived in Fairbanks for many years and spent time in Los Anchorage also. I did keep looking for people I knew in there too...lol. Thanks again for these.
