Freepers On Comey !!!
Curiously, very little comment from the Mayberry Machiavellians!

However...

"I couldn't stay, if the administration was going to engage in conduct that the Department of Justice had said had no legal basis," Comey told the panel."

BUT, you had NO compunction about passing an empty, but very juicy political case to your buddy, Patrick Fitzgerald, to bring scorn on the White House by the shameful sham persecution of Scooter Libby, did you? So much for YOUR discretion and judicial integrity, Mr. Comey!

I heard Ashcroft on the radio a while ago, and he alluded to things like this. Turns out he was constantly fighting for our constitutional rights while in office.

1. Typical freepers.
They wouldn't know honor and integrity if it hit them in the face.

3. A republican
in national office who has integrity is very rare, indeed. So rare that many of our less gifted brethern do not recognize that integrity is a good thing. Thus, they react as if Mr. Comey posed a risk for spreading a disease among their ranks.

5. So, Ashcroft was not the demon we anticipated after alll
He actually stood up for the nation, constitutionally speaking.

The freepers confirm it.

8. Damn, lost another .15 IQ points reading that.
There's nothing that can't be justified or apologized for, if it is a Republican who is committing the crimes. Comey, by the way, is a straight shooter Republican. So Starwise, et al, prefer the law breaking Republicans over the ones with integrity. Go figure.
