Palin WTF: Statue of Liberty was “Warning” Against “Socialism”
“This Statue of Liberty was gifted to us by foreign leaders, really as a warning to us, it was a warning to us to stay unique and to stay exceptional from other countries. Certainly not to go down the path of other countries that adopted socialist policies,” Palin said to cheers from the crowd.

6. If it weren't for the likes of FOX News and FOX News wannabees...
We would never hear about Palin or the Tea Baggers.

There was a time (when I was a kid) the media would scrutinize public spectacles. Perhaps someone like Palin would received national attention in a story or two for her insanity, but not the 24/7 coverage she gets in today's media climate...

15. Everybody gives her too much attention.
Why is she still here and why are we hearing from her? She lost. You're absolutely right about FAUX News. They give the crazy ones publicity, seem to specialize in the insane. When I was a kid, the losing candidates disappeared as soon as the election was over. I sure had that hope about Sarah Palin... x( :hi:

2. I Wonder Who Writes Her Stuff
She's not sufficiently verbal to come up with such nonsense.

that in the recent Vanity Fair piece, and here's a little something else suggesting some illegality about this whole charade:

"If Palin and her ghostwriter are in fact violating Facebook's terms of use, that probably doesn't seem like a big deal to most people. Just by surfing around the internet, we "agree" to dozens of website terms of use every day, usually before we even read them. These terms can say anything a website operator wants, and often specifically note that they can be changed at any time without notice (or with minimal notice).

But violating a website's terms of use is a big deal, according to Facebook. In fact, Facebook says it's a federal crime."

22. OK, for those of us that didn't read the Vanity Fair piece-
In what way is Palin's ghostwriter violating the terms of use?

5. "Foreign Leaders" had little to do with it -The statue was financed by dontaions from
the people of France ane the site and base by donations from the people of the US. It was designed and made as a symbol of the struggle for liberty of the American annd French people against monarchs. Not a damy thing to do with "socialism", Sarah...

10. Yes she can!
All she has to do is open her mouth and the ignorance just flows! Every time we think she has said the "dumbest" thing ever, she tops it with something even dumber! Hey who knows, maybe she has hired Glen Beck the "historian" to help her come up with this stuff!

17. I have a dream...
that every commentator on MSNBC, CBS, NBC, and others (excluding Faux Republicans) would be given a Dumb Dumb Bag which they would fill during the week with stupid things that have been said or done by wanna-be politicians like Palin, Angle, Fiorina, Paul, etc. They would not report those at the time of the 'attack', but would read the reports from the Dumb Dumb Bag on Fridays at the end of their shows like Junk News. The ignoring of the media would drive the nutbags crazier than they already are! Not only that, they would really go out of their way to 'step-up' the craziness to bring attention to themselves. And, don't worruy about Faux Republican News, they don't care what she does, they love her so there would be little consequences there anyway. :argh:

18. She has no clue what she's talking about.
She is just stringing together a bunch of right wing talking points, showing a little leg, and laughing all the way to the bank.

Stoopid freep head idiots are lapping it up faster than she can dish it out.

20. WTF. Is this woman really For Real?
Or is she just some massive reality show practical joke being played on us by Fox Nuze?

Where is the fucking candid camera? Is this an Onion article?

At lease ten kinds of cray cray crazy here. Doesn't anyone think it's time to close the door on her? I mean, they finally stopped giving Orly Taitz airtime, didn't they?
