Interesting stats from Gallup Panelists
Hey guys,

Every now and then I get an email survey from Gallup, and so I fill them out. I guess I'm a "panelist".
Anyway, I just got this in an email this morning, and thought I'd share:

Key Findings

*When asked which stance comes closer to their point of view, Gallup panelists are more likely to say that the United States' federal taxes pay for many useless government programs (64%) than to say the taxes pay for important government programs (36%).

*In response to a similar question, 75% of panelists say the notion that federal laws favor the interests of the powerful over the interests of ordinary Americans comes closer to their point of view than the idea that these laws treat everyone pretty much the same (25% of panelists say this is closer to their view).

*When asked about government regulation, panelists are more evenly split than in their responses to the two other questions: 52% say the notion that government regulation of business is necessary to protect the public interest, slightly edging out their view that this type of regulation usually does more harm than good (48%).

--------

Nothing earth-shattering, but I found it interesting.

Matt :hi:
