LePage Curses at Reporter, Apologizes

Republican gubernatorial candidate Paul LePage called his media tour an "absolute disaster" on Monday after he cursed at a reporter who asked questions about his residency and taxes being paid at homes his wife owns in Maine and Florida.

LePage says he feels he's explained that his wife, Ann, who owns both properties, mistakenly declared primary residency in both states, got a tax break in both states, but is now fixing the problem.

But when questions about the two residences continued at a press conference on Monday, LePage became visibly upset, saying, "Let's stop the bull--- and let's answer the questions the way they should be answered."

LePage apologized, saying he never said he was politically correct, but did admit it was an inappropriate word to say.

And when asked how his first media tour went, a frustrated LePage replied, "I really think the only thing I accomplished today is I really realized something today, that it's not about fixing the state, it's about destroying people."

2. "It's not about fixing the state, it's about destroying people."
And that, my friends, is the GOP platform in a nutshell. Locally, state-wide, nationally, globally.

3. They were all over Al Franken about his income taxes and
Al had paid them, but not in the right amounts to each state.

4. I hope his reaction encourages the press to keep poking at him with a stick.
Keep up the adequate job!

5. "Mistakenly declared primary residency in both states"
Now, how many of YOU have ever had that problem? But it's a running thing with Republicans. Dick Cheney, a Texas oilman, had to pretend he really lived in Wyoming so he and the Dim Son could share the ticket. Chris Dudley, running for governor in Oregon, is right now having to explain why he claimed residency in Washington state (to avoid Oregon income tax on his ancillary contract income? Dudley emphatically says no, but I can't help wondering if he declared all his Oregon purchases - not subject to sales taxes - in Washington, or was we taking advantage of both states' tax codes?) while playing for the Trail Blazers. John McCain can't even keep track of how many houses he owns.

Can't you see all the problems the wealthy have? You heartless libruls! And now you want to raise their taxes, you shameless socialists.

6. There is more to this story yet to come...
He not only cheated on his taxes with the exemption he also allowed his two daughters to go to FSU on their dime by claiming they were residents of Florida. He has been caught lying many times already and let's hope they just keep dogging him for the truth. Why did he put the property in his wifes name, who actually owns the property in Florida, how much did his little fraud cost taxpayers of both Maine and Florida? Many questions little for answers.
