Conservatives today aren't really conservative but crazed extremists.

3. outside of politics, most people are a little conservative
depending upon the subject matter. I think he's trying to clarify what "Conservative" means as opposed to what politically "Conservative" means.

10. I Grew Up with Moderate/Conservative Views
until I actually found out what it all means. Now I too am a radical leftist, at least that's what I have been told.

8. I figure conservative is "supposed" to mean that rich people conserve their money.
Liberal means that rich people are liberal with their money.

5. There's not a goddamned thing wrong with being "conservative"
Being "A" conservative, as the word has come to be defined by the TV "news" industry and right wing radio, is something completely different however.
