Don't let the MSM narrow our focus to the short term.
The Tea Party is a billionaire-funded phenomenom being promoted relentlessly by the corporate media. They are all over the news 24-7 and we are being encouraged to "Be afraid! Be very afraid!"

But, let's not be stampeded past one very salient fact which all of us KNOW in our heart of hearts: these people are without integrity, they are without ideas and they are without that sense of tolerance and generosity that defines what it is to be "American".

They may elect a few loud and strange characters to office, but they will surely wilt and wither in the bright light of a system that, eventually, requires them to be FOR something and have reasons for their positions.

All of them, including Queen Sarah, will be shameful footnotes in future history books and, before that, the butt of some of stand-up comedy's best political humor.

There is no "there" there and America will, in time, learn that. Let's just hope that the price of the knowledge won't be too dear.
