For Statewide Offices:
Democratic Voter Turnout = 10%
Republican Voter Turnout = 28%

So, is 28% good? Doesn't seem that impressive.

Isn't that the same crazy 28% who still approved of George Bush in January, 2009?

The Dem numbers look terrible, but this election day wasn't really for them. Still, that needs to improve substantially, imho.

I was less interested in the Dem turnout than the Republicans. That's why I qualified my opinion on the Dem turnout.

It seems to me for all of the "enthusiasm" the Tea Party was supposed to be creating according to the talking heads, 28% (or maybe by now 30-ish percent) isn't all that great. Looks like the same wacko 28-percenters as always.
