He just looked so shell-shocked and it is depressing to see what is happening to the Republican party, as much as I might oppose them.

In any other election cycle, he'd have an easier time in a primary against this loon than he does in his congressional races. It's embarrassing and depressing to see your political career end this way. He beats all sorts of decent people, and he falls to some 2-bit fascist on what should be the peak of his political career.
