Anti-Incumbent?, Anti-Republican?, Anti-Establishment?? |
|
Anybody figured it out yet?
Think of those that have bitten the dust...Bennett in Utah, Murkowski in Alaska, now Castle in Delaware. The Tea Party is taken over the Republican Party. It is now officially the Republican Tea Party and it is much more right-wing nutsy today than it was just yesterday.
If you are a Republican that has a record that shows you voted with the Democrats 7 years ago, then you are in danger of losing your seat. The Republicans are getting an enema made with green tea. Rush Limbaugh doesn't know it yet but he is a moderate to these folks.
Of course, nothing like that could ever happen to the Democratic Party. Could it??

1. I doubt anything like the tea party could happen to the dems, BUT |

There IS ALREADY a group who are pushing HARD against what they call the Blue Dogs. I have no idea how big that group is or how far they'll get with success, but they are similar to what the TB's seem to be doing but the TB's are going against the whole Pub Party!

2. Don't worry. Us professional lefties and progressives will vote Dem... |

just to make sure. We can fight out our differences later. Hopefully the DLC and blue mutts will eventually die an incumbent death for better Dem alternatives.
