Besides the Republicons realize that they don't need to win DE to control the Senate, all they have to do is promise a charmanship to either Nelson or Baucus, they vote with Repukes most of the time, anyway.

All the Rethugs need to do is get to 49 or 50 seats in the Senate, with an overwhelming victory in the House, and they will drag in a few scared Blue Dogs who may as well be Repigs anyway.
