Report: National Republican Senatorial Committee Won’t Fund Christine O’Donnell
Edited on Tue Sep-14-10 10:51 PM by cal04
http://www.mediaite.com/online/report-national-republican-senatorial-committee-wont-fund-christine-odonnell/

Earlier tonight Christine O’Donnell was declared the winner of the Republican Senate primary in Delaware over heavy favorite Mike Castle. Since O’Donnell was viewed as the Tea Party candidate endorsed by Sarah Palin, with little chance of winning in the general election in November, this race had shaped up as a the GOP establishment versus the Tea Party Republicans. In fact, just last night Charles Krauthammer called a vote for O’Donnell as irresponsible. Well according to a recent report, it turns out that the establishment — in this case the NRSC – won’t be funding O’Donnell’s campaign.

Rove comment, but according to this, 'watching' to decide on whether to give O'Donnell resources

"There's just a lot of nutty things she's been saying," said former Bush political guru Karl Rove on Fox News. "This is not a race we're going to be able to win."

So Christine O'Donnell wins her nomination in Delaware. Fox News reports that the NRSC has taken Delaware off the map and will not help O'Donnell in November. A lot of grumbling about "Palin and the Tea Party can support her." Getting the full reaction tomorrow is going to be F-U-N.

Have you given your $10 to an O2B candidate? Among the choices are Ann McLane Kuster who won her primary tonight in convincing fashion against a Lieberdem, and Alan Grayson.

Fox gets official word from their bosses at the GOP:
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/09/14/hours-polls-close-gloves-come-delaware/

Republican aides told Fox News Tuesday that the National Republican Senatorial Committee will not be funding O'Donnell's general election campaign, leaving it up to Palin and the Tea Party Express to do the heavy lifting.

In other words, "You broke it, you bought it."

4. The NRSC knows that it needs to spend resources in states where it has a good chance to win
and they will. If O'Donnell can win, it will be from people who don't give a rat's patootie about what the NRSC has to say anyway. If she cannot win, they will have proven to be sensible enough to devote money and effort in a place where they can make a difference, such as a big state.

On the other hand, we will piss away valuable dollars on Alaska, Florida, and maybe even Utah.

7. NRSC would rather wait 4 years and find a better candidate to run against Coons
They know once she's an incumbent they'll be stuck with her and she'll make the party look bad.

6. Is she looking for a hand-out?
Or will she just have to take matters into her own hands? Kind of sad that after all that work, she finally won but the GOP is giving her the finger, throwing cold water on her dreams...

8. Of course she needs handouts- how do you think she pays her living expenses
And since her supporters have made death threats against the DEGOP, I have a feeling they aren't to thrilled to support her either.

And btw after all that hard work she's done she took out an honorable decent man and turned a definate win for the republicans into a sure win for the democrat. Mike Castle wins statewide because he's beloved by everyone including independents and moderate democrats. Those people will not vote for a nutjob as their senator.

AND BTW, she does use campaign funds to pay for all her living expenses. She claims her apartment in Hockession as her campaign HQ so she can pay her bills. This woman has not had a serious job since almost graduating college 20 years ago. (which btw we found out she didn't - she made up the remaining credits this year when we caught her in that lie)

9. She just sounds like Republican extract
Really, this is the kind of thing I would expect from Republicans now. Don't know what their problem is.

11. Oh she's the biggest liar out there. She's told the same lies for so long she perceives them...
as the truth.

She lied about her college degree
She lied about her master degree studies
She lied about the what the Weekly Standard did against her and the lawsuit she filed (they hate her)
She is the biggest liar out there.
