And get them to the polls!

These so-called Democratic pundits do such a disservice to Democratic voters. They can't be positive about *anything*!!!

They are suggesting STILL that this will be a big year for Republicans and the teabaggers due to voter anger about the Establishment.

The only way I see that happening is if we fail to get out and vote.

However, I think the teabagger wins will energize the party. I think we will get and vote once we realize what's at stake.

Just my opinion...

1. That much crazy in one spot is awe inspring...and should inspire voters.
So I hope you are right.

2. I agree.
Speaking in terms of a Delawarean, Christine O'Donnell is a flaming idiot. Chris Coons' is a certifiable "good guy" who works hard, studies issues hard, and will kick ass in any debates. She'd be wise to avoid him in debates.

3. I hope you are right
I am not cheering any teabagger victories though. The closer they get to being elected, the more the hairs rise on the back of my neck.

But yes, I certainly hope Democrats are paying attention.

4. One thing: I don't think that the Teabaggers are fully behind
tax breaks for the wealthy. If they are truly concerned about the deficit, they can't be for borrowing more money to give the wealthy a continued tax break.

5. Those Two Are Always Wrong With Their Predictions
Remember, Tweety was sure George Allen was going to be president and O'Donnell was confident about Hillary's campaign

11. O'Donnell was also *WITHOUT A DOUBT* sure that health care reform wouldn't go anywhere...
...why? Because he worked for Daniel Patrick Moynihan. He was wrong.

Tweety was obsessed with whether or not Obama could win the "regular white guys" vote. He was obsessed with the women voters and how Obama would do. He was wrong.

All of their "punditry" turned out to be from their ass. They both are wrong.

It's all up to us.

If we don't get the vote out, then it's our fault. The teabaggers are handing us victory on a silver platter. We need to get out and VOTE!! And work to get others out to vote!!

PERIOD!!!!!!

9. These talking heads are always 'in the moment' and don't see
the big picture like you do.

There's still so much time. I think the baggers have already riled up the gop, to startling heights, and I'm glad. Maybe one day the gop might even find a platform they can run on that might be viable.

12. My take on Tweety today
He had a meeting first thing with the suits and was told to push the Repubs are going to clean up meme.

He then went off and had a shot, thought about telling them to fuck off, had another shot, thought about his paycheck, went on TV and delivered the message from the suits.

13. Intraparty upsets and general elections are different things
Let's all remember Ned Lamont squashing Joe Lieberman in the Democratic primary in 2006. Everyone was so jubilant that we'd cleared the party of its most regressive element. And then Lamont lost big in the general (and to the guy he ousted from the party).

The Republicans are going to get a taste of this bitter medicine in many cases in November. The Tea Baggers may be happy today with their victories, but it will be a bitter tea in 50 days.

Heh, I'm just remembering a book I used to read to my kids when they were little. I think it was called Owl at Home. "Owl took the kettle out of the cupboard. Tonight I will make tear-water tea," he said. I loved that book.

16. Seeing as how most people don't follow political news and just glaze over
I don't really see how this energizes anybody two months from now. Might cost them a few races on a singular level but it isn;t going to make millions show up to the polls that otherwise wouldn't. Ask everyone you see tomorrow about today's primary happenings, I would be shocked if 1 out of 100 were even aware of them outside the states where the individual races actually happened, then I might say 5 out of 100.

17. Well a tea bagger is going to save Harry Ried
He would have lost this election had the pukes not nominated a nutbag. So I tend to agree with you.
