for those of you who have chosen a candidate, a lot of us have not

If you go and slander a candidate that we might be considering, you are shooting yourself in the foot. A lot of us can see right through the bullshit you are spewing and your bullshit only pisses us off on your candidate and makes us move closer to the candidate you are slandering.

Keep that in mind before you continue to spew nonsense and bullshit on this site.

1. Let me be the first one to say....

I'm not here to win hearts and minds on behalf of my candidate. I'm here for political banter. I'll address anything I think is wrong that is said about Obama here. I expect others will do the same for their candidates of choice.

If I post a statement here that one considers slanderous then I suggest you take it for what it's worth. No skin off my back. I'm not being paid to boost my candidate. I think intelligent people find reliable sources of information and do their own critical thinking. The best source of information about any candidate is on their official website, not in this opinion forum. This site is a loosely moderated dumping ground for opinions and every once and a while somebody throws in a fact.

11. Well, in fairness, DU has it's share of bullshit, but what of it?

We have as much right as anyone to our opinions - bullshit or not. Facts are good. Yes, there are people who post stridently held opinions based on pseudoscience but there are many people who post many facts. DU is a big tent, can find many different things here. Have you ever posted on yahoo or other totally open to the public minimally moderated boards?
