Wisconsin GOP chooses a Palin clone to run for Lt. Gov.
A Milwaukee news personality who opposes high speed rail between Milwaukee and Madison (and thereby the link between Chicago and Minneapolis) because as a Mom, she'll drive a mini-van to her Lt Gov job in Madison.

1. And a crazy right-winger as her running mate
He has tried to cripple Milwaukee County as its executive, in order to keep taxes down, and thanks to the progressives on the county board has only partially succeeded. Now his party wants him to spread the blight to the whole state. Sheesh.

2. Another opponent to rail transport that means million$ in infrastructure
He's opposed in general but really opposes having a stop that would make the largest medical complex/research park accessible by mass transit. Probably for the same reason he preferred closing the county swimming pool in Wauwatosa to fixing it --fear that pigmented people would be seen using sidewalks in the "Community of Lawns."

4. Oh yay...ANOTHER freaking Palinista.
I am getting sick of these morons - with their adoption of her syntax-challenged speech patterns, dog-whistle religious nonsense and their even taking to her hair style and those goddamn "naughty-librarian" glasses + short skirt look.

The only good thing I can see in this is that while this nonsense seems to work real well in primaries; which is about the only place Palin has more fans than detractors, it remains to be seen if this blatant copy-catting will wash with independents (who recoiled in horror from McCain-Palin when faced with the responsibility of actually voting to put her within a heartbeat of the Presidency) in the general elections.

I am making bank on the independents coming to their senses in the general election much the same way they did back in '08. The more "Palined-up" these nut cases get, the more abhorrent they look to rational independents. Add that to a concentrated GOTV effort and the losses in November may be stemmed enough to avoid Speaker Boehner after all...

5. On her Facebook page Rebecca lists like for Ron Reagan and Sarah Palin
She did not like Sykes, whose conservative political show made her think that her first elected public office should be Lt. Gov.

Hey Rebecca, can you say 'Maverick'?
