with all this talk of Cristine O'Touch Myself, this place is lousy with her ads |
|
I know, I know, I need to donate again to get rid of the ads, but here's a thought (concern thread)...
What about the visitors who hear of DU and check in only to see her Palin-esque face splattered all over the place? Yesterday was more fun when the ads were for Allstate Insurance en espanol. I'd love to donate, but I just had to pay out of pocket for shoulder surgery and cant work in the field for at least another month, and my few extra $ are going to my Malloy-cast.
Wont somebody think of the visitors

1. That's actually a good point. The Admins can block certain ads and have before. |
|
I suggest you e-mail them--they will do it in certain cases.

I watched her on The Today Show this morning and gagged. I got in the shower early so I didn't have to hear "you betcha" again.
Gag.

4. So what, DU gets their money and who here is going to let those ads influence their vote? |
|
I understand you don't want to hear it, but why shouldn't DU take some of the Republican's money to promote Democratic ideals? I know none of those ads will cause me to vote Republican....

It's sheer genius to have Repugs wasting money on placement of ads.

9. The reason for all the ads is because we are posting non-stop about her |
|
and those ads look for key words and assume that's what you are interested in. I visited an Estee Lauder site one time and now all my websites have ads for Estee Lauder.
I think Skinner can adjust it so we don't see the ad but think of it this way - free money for DU

Google tracks. LynneSin I've had the same thing happen with Elizabeth Arden. :)
I look at shoes and I'll see shoe ads for 2 or 3 days.

10. DU earns money every time an ad gets clicked. |
|
Click her ad, fund DU. Click her ad, drain her campaign coffers.

I'll click if it costs Repigs! *bwahahaha*
Why aren't I seeing the ads? is it because I'm a logged in donor or is it because of Firefox?

13. But people just think is any ad by this nut going to change |
|
your mind. Think, think they pay for an ad that you know darn well will have zero results and DU gets the benefit of the money they spent foolishly. I think it is hilarious...the more the better, they won't change MY MIND, and they shouldn't change yours.
