Theory: The teabaggers are roots Republicans who finally caught on
that their party is totally full of shit and has been for 30 years at least. They've had the promise of pure conservatism (and the threat of unadulterated socialism) dangled in front of their noses to get them out of their Barka-loungers every two years to vote, but the GOP is too beholden to their corporate paymasters to do anything but protect the extremely wealthy by cutting upper income taxes, promoting global free trade and throwing high-tech wars. (Sound familiar roots Democrats?)

Of course the baggers aren't paying much attention to the major gift the GOP has given them of loading the courts at every level with the most rabid lunatics in the judicial system. They want their dimwits in the Congress and Senate and eventually the White House, to create a real White People's Revolution in this country. They want their government to look and think exactly like them (except maybe a little younger, more female and slimmer).

Think it will work? Do you think there are enough of them sufficiently motivated to realize their dream? Will the Republicans who loathe them hold their noses and vote for their candidates, or will they sit this election out (like a lot of disheartened roots Democrats would like to do)?
