(edited to reflect that he is RUNNING for co commissioner, isn't one)
Hey rimjob, LIAR!

http://ptleader.com/main.asp?SectionID=36&SubSectionID=55&ArticleID=27719
...While on the campaign trail, during interviews and on his campaign website, Boyer has made his conservative leanings clear. However, the tone and tenor of Boyer’s message as delivered on Free Republic come in contrast to the message delivered on his home turf in Jefferson County.

A different voice emerges on the Free Republic website. On Aug. 10, 2010, Boyer identifies himself on the Free Republic as a member with the user name “Baynative,” and he asks fellow Free Republic members to stuff an electronic ballot box at the Peninsula Daily News to sway a reader poll in his favor – a practice Free Republic adherents call “FReeping.”
(clip)
Port Townsend residents also enter Boyer’s crosshairs. In a message to Free Republic user “Seadog Bytes” on Nov. 28, 2007, Boyer writes, “Port Townsend is populated by those types who are migrating there from all over. Most of the town is welfare or trustafarians. They have spent countless hours in the council on motions to impeach the president, global warming proclamations, writing letters to the navy telling them to leave the nearby base, etc. They make Berkeley and Santa Cruz together look like beginners.”
(clip)
“Peace on Earth? – Not while there are Muslims on Earth!” Boyer writes on Aug. 10, 2006.
(clip)
“For years I have believed that NORPLANT birth control should be mandatory for women (white or whatever) on welfare and government drug dependency programs,” he wrote.... (more)

1. What a freakin nutjob!
In Boyer’s posts, colleges such as Fort Hays State University and University of Pittsburgh are “indoctrination centers for tomorrow’s liberals,” teachers are “wards of the state,” “the spirit of MLK’s ‘I have a Dream speech’ is exactly what Beck preaches daily,” and President Obama has violated his oath of office and should “explain why I would not think he is a racist.”

“Our congress is being taken over by liberals and we are sliding down the slippery slope to socialist destruction of the greatest nation the world has ever known,” Boyer writes in a Feb. 9, 2009 Free Republic post. “What are the alternatives?... Armed revolution – march on the Capitol and demand that congress stand down and go home alive.... I’d prefer a far reaching tax revolt.... The problem with protesting is that conservatives have families, lives, jobs and businesses to run. Protesting wirks fine for liberals because they can get thousands of students, unemployed or illegals in the street in short order. We need serious action and barring the first alternative which I’d be willing to participate in, I am working hard to find an approach that people will actually participate in.... I am at the point in my life where I have nothing to lose and will do what ever it takes to preserve liberty for my grandsons.”

7. I'm near PT, not in his district. District 3 is...
Port Ludlow, Shine, Coyle, Quilcene, Brinnon, Discovery Bay, Gardiner. Looking at that list, he could get in as there are some very redneck "conservative" assholes voters there.

14. I bet also. I like this bit, ignore what I say, listen to what I say?
"Also in the email, Boyer cautioned against becoming distracted by the Free Republic postings and losing focus of local issues in the campaign." Because seeing how you really think is sooooo distracting from "local issues"?

5. I don't think this will play well with his constituents
Boyer may have a lot of fast talking to do if he hopes to keep his job. I wonder if he has an idea similar to his Norplant idea for men on welfare, and if he'd voluntarily demonstrate it for us all when he's out of work and on the dole?
