electorate will be influenced by CNN, MSNBC and Fox 'news" to like her. They will play her as the valiant underdog and the dumbed-down voters will eat it up.

9. Plus, she believes in one of the Bagger's umpteenth Commandments.
Thou shalt not "stimulate" the economy to benefit the middle class.

2. You're not giving the Delawareans (Delawarazoids? Delawareites?) much credit.
After all, didn't they elect and re-elect Joe Biden for like 30 years? Already Coons is ahead in the polls. "Cute" might help a little sometimes, but it didn't save the McCain-Palin ticket, even though Palin was the object of many a freeperite wet dream. No, I think the media will have way more fun with her phony academic credentials, dubious financial history and religious wackiness.

As long as the Repuke isn't Castle, the Northern half of Delware will vote the way Biden tells them to and the Southern half will vote for whoever their fundie pastor tells them to.

Luckily, the North has more people.

It's just stuff I read on DU and from the punditry and it squares with the state's voter breakdown based on my reading of election results.

5. A lot of DUers freaked out when McCain picked Palin.
That lasted for a few days before better senses prevailed.

6. Castle is NOT endorsing her. That should sum it up. She's a lightweight.
And it's DE, the state that kept Biden in the Senate for almost four decades. Very blue state. O'Donnell is the closed primary product of a party that's lost control of itself. The Republican Party was sponsoring Robocalls on election day trashing her. This is not a race to lose a lot of sleep over.

8. Sounds like it is a good time for good-looking women to run for office
Maybe the dems should use that as a strategy... get good-looking dem women to run. I think it would work.

10. Delaware gave you the VP...
don't worry about us. There may be stupids folks here, but not enough to elect this nitwit. Coons will win. Castle was a threat to Coons because he's moderate. Some Dems/Indies could get behind him and turn Delaware red, but no way will they get behind O'Donnell. I know Republicans that are having shit fits over this. No way will they even hold their nose and vote for her.

15. She actually doesn't sound very loony unless you get all the YouTube stuff.
Attacking a woman has to be done very carefully too. It creates sympathy for a "victim".

What scares me is she has that same thing as Palin where no matter how much you make fun of her she just keeps plugging along.

16. The media deserve blame in a lot of cases, agree, but
I don't think even FOX and the others can make Christine O'Donnell palatable to a majority of voters in Delaware.

I think we're just a handful of weeks before we get Senator-Elect Coons.

17. How does she get away w/flat out LYING about her education & credentials???
I mean, this is not "pad your resume" action, she freaking claimed to:

- have a college degree (she only rec'd one like last week)

- have gone to both Princeton AND Oxford (!!)

How the hell does she get away with making shit like that up???

That's not even touching (no touching!) all the other batshit crazy stuff.

I am confident the Delaware Dems know how to handle this election.
