Employee's porn stash accidently projected on school's giant tv screen
Teens Get Porn Shock During Blood Bank

AOL News (Sept. 12) -- More than 400 students from Norwin High School in western Pennsylvania got an unexpected eyeful Friday, when a big screen presentation on the importance of donating blood suddenly turned into an X-rated slideshow.

The hardcore images -- described by students as gay pornography, according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette -- were stored on a portable flash drive owned by a Central Blood Bank employee. That USB stick also contained the safe-for-all-ages PowerPoint presentation. But unfortunately, the Gazette noted, when Assistant Principal Tim Kotch plugged the drive into a computer, he unwittingly clicked on the wrong file, causing several explicit photos to appear on the school's giant TV screen.

"It took a few seconds for people to process what was up there," senior Chelsey Fix told the newspaper. "People were laughing, but the main thing was people were like, 'I can't believe this happened.'" Student Ethan Dobranski told Channel 4 Action News that the images included "frontal male nudity, and there was one with, like, two people in there, but it was, like, from the back."

"That's what popped up, but I don't think realized that was on there at the time, and he was truly embarrassed for what happened," student Dan Jones told the TV news show. "He was just shocked. He, like, put his hand on the stage and covered his head. He was so ashamed of himself for having that."

-------------

Those hardcore images may have caused snickers among the students, but they look certain to result in the Central Blood Bank being hit with a seriously hefty lawsuit.

1. You know that old nightmare scenario where you find yourself
standing naked in front of your entire class?

This one has to be like 1000 times worse!!!

4. The employee should be fired... for terminal stupidity.
It's not like USB sticks are expensive. Buy one for work and one for porn. Never let the porn one show up at work. Don't use work provided equipment for personal use.

(As I type this, I have this laptop for myself... DU, CNN, etc, etc. And another, provided by my employer which is open to Skype, Outlook, PowerPoint, and has my work docs stored on it). I also have some USB sticks with work files and another set with my personal stuff on them).

It's a bit of a pain, but really... not that hard.

10. Shit, they just got around to reporting this?
The kids thought it was a hoot (not to mention the hooters)!

It was pretty mild stuff according to our paper, and nothing the kids hadn't already seen on their own. You can't shake a mouse at the Internet without finding more explicit images.

parents are going to be having a heart attack, but they are fooling themselves if they think every one of those kids has not already seen porn.

20. Tell me about it when SO's son was 12 he got grounded from using any computers except at the
local library because I searched his e mail trash bin and found e mails from women around his age as well as women as old as 47 with nude photos attached. It seems he was hitting the yahell chat rooms and meeting these females, so that made me check his profile where I saw he had listed his age as 19. I also got into a yelling match with SO's sister who tried to blow it off as boys will be boys crap, she said it was unfair the boy got grounded, I told her no he got grounded for lying about his age and his reason for using the PC, he said it was for school work, I know for a fact he was taking no courses in female anatomy or biology.

14. You'd think an IT guy would know proper printing protocol:
1. Print short innocuous business document.
2. Print porn.
3. Print short innocuous business document.
4. Hover over the printer until the job is finished.
Jeez. I thought everyone knew that!

15. How do you confuse "bloodbank.ppt" with "porn.ppt"?
Hell, who puts porn in a PowerPoint presentation anyway? Sake.

16. Yeah, that's awkward. I can remember in 8th grade I visited another school. The
teacher went and pulled down a map and someone had taped a Playboy Centerfold to it. We were all giggling and I was embarrassed, but that doesn't hold a candle to this I am sure.
