extended only, let them all expire and bring on a bill for a middle class tax cut that kicks in Jan 1 2011.
Let the repubs take the blame for the first one and then let them block the second one all before the election.

but I don't have kids, especially kids in college or daycare. Letting them expire would be a real burden for a hell of a lot of people.
Then again, maybe they'd wake up and stop voting for Republican dead wood.
Of course, our fine news media would have to report it honestly and that's a very big "if."

to ignore the 2001/2003 legislation and introduce a new bill to reintroduce middle class (only) tax cuts effective January and let the (R) team defend their opposition to it.
