Once again, the GOP shows how little it cares about people other than corporate interests. It's laughable to suggest that the FDA is a troubled agency, since it was the GOP who created those problems in the first place. They have denied the agencies ability to issue food recalls, instead relying on the classic Republican lie that self-regulation works. It doesn't, as we know from Wall Street to food. The FDA has been one of the more improved agencies during Obama's term and they're pushing for more corporate responsibility. If there's one thing the Republicans hate, it's corporate responsibility.

1. The critical issue facing the USA
is not about liberal vs conservative or D vs R.

It is about reigning in a corporate America that controls our government and that fully intends to make serfs and warriors out of the people so as to maximize their profits and empire.

Until average Americans begin to comprehend the difference between the status quo which is the progression to a corporate plutocracy, and a democracy, which is the difference between night and day, we are doomed to argue forever about unimportant irrelevant trivialities, while representatives of the "corporotocracy" manipulate us, control government and have their hooks in both Parties.

This will not be turned around until Americans of BOTH left and right ideologies understand that they are being played as pawns.

4. I have a genius of an idea. Create
a Food Tasting Committee. Appoint a republican as the Head, and an all republican member. Then they must taste all the foods that the FDA finds questionable. If they don't die, then they can be considered safe for the rest of the country. Let's write congress and suggest that. Coburn could be he first one in charge. Give him the biggest plate.

6. The FDA was founded when Teddy Roosevelt was president.
Guess he'd be considered a Godless liberal these days.
