Limbaugh: “I’m in charge of that!''
Portnoy ABC’s Steven Portnoy reports:

Following the Tea Party’s latest major electoral victory over the Republican establishment, Rush Limbaugh gave his party’s inner-circle a tongue-lashing Wednesday, accusing the power players of having a “petulant attitude” and declaring that he – not they – is “in charge” of anointing candidates who can win.

“This is about conservatives taking back the Republican Party,” Limbaugh said Wednesday, following Christine O’Donnell’s victory in the GOP senate primary in Delaware over Rep. Mike Castle despite the vociferous objections of party insiders.

“Who the hell are they, anyway, to anoint or disanoint somebody as electable or not electable?” Rush Limbaugh asked Wednesday. “I’m in charge of that! … That’s always been my purview and nothing’s changed.”

LOL

2. But, but, but...NPR was reporting that the Tea Party was a
complete organic and amorphous movement, with zero dependence on any kind of national leader!!

4. Big talk for a guy who has never run for public office and has no elected

authority to speak for the Republican Party or anyone else
for that matter.

Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity and most of all Palin represent the
new breed of American RW politician who don't believe they
need to stoop to run for office in order to wield political
power.

They are profoundly antidemocratic. They hate democracy and
orderly government. They are anarchists and revolutionaries
not conservatives.

5. Thanks for breaking out the real headline in that story.
Rush just layed down the rules to all Republican 2012 hopefuls. He's "in charge of that."

At least, he's now admitted what we've all known.

In 2012, they will all be lining up to pucker up and kiss his fat ass sweeter than the one before them in line. What a show this will be.

8. Fine, I declare Rush Hudson Limbaugh the defacto leader of the Rethuglican/Tea Party
so he can own it all when they go down in massive defeat this november, and the citizens are looking for blood, the officials can point to the a-hole...
