I am a Christian who wants - no, demands - a secular government and |
|
- if I had children - a secular education for my children.
I do NOT want legislation or education based On anything but science and rationality and that Which promotes the General Welfare of my fellow citizens.
I guess I should include corporatism in that mix.

1. K&R. I'm also a Christian who thinks religion has no place in government. |
|
In the classroom... we always thought it was a private option on test days. ;-)

were more prominent among the self proclaimed "Christians". Sadly, the "Old Testament" Christians seem to rule the roost and seem to have excluded Matthew from their understanding of their superstition. Sad because Matthew is where the true teachings of Christianity can be found.

11. I think Christians like this are in the majority. |
|
Or at least pretty close to half. It just doesn't seem that way most of the time because the minority that do want a theocracy are so bloody loud.
They're definitely a minority in the US as a percentage of the total population, but to hear them holler you'd think they were 90% of the country. Especially since the media pays them far more attention than the liberal/moderate Christians.
