From the JCC Candidate Forum that O'Donnell initially was not going to show up to unless she was provided all the questions before hand. See previous thread here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x9148935

...O’Donnell did o.k. she was very buzzword heavy and Palinesque. She also came across as egotistical with her crack that she could have been somewhere else but chose to come here. She also said she’d been so busy she didn’t have time to do laundry. She seemed to contradict herself at times, too...

So COD wants to go to war with Iran?? neat!

Comment by Unstable Isotope on 16 September 2010 at 8:08 pm:

COD: I don’t want to reward those that break laws (immigration reform). I support secure both borders. Canada is a gateway for terrorists! Fence & troops. No amnesty.

Comment by heragain on 16 September 2010 at 11:29 pm:

... One of my favorite O’Donnell quotes is “America is one of the most free places in the country.” That gives you an idea...

1. She wants to build a fence between the US & Canada?????
Hell, we can't build or afford to build one between the US & Mexico and that's less than 1/4th the distance of our Canadian border! What an idiot!

3. If we do build such a fence it will be to keep Americans in.
We could save a lot of money by just waiting for Canada to build that one.

5. I noticed CNN kept the "“America is one of the most free places in the country.”
. . .out of their story. . .and it looks like they cleaned up her talk to make her appear more coherent (at least on their web site). I fully expect the MSM to build her up as much as possible, and minimize any stories about her performance/behavior/irresponsibility in the past.

While it was nice that tonight was civil, one must remember that teabaggers don't "do" civil. . .civil is boring and doesn't grab headlines or plant false rumors to inflame the public. O'Donnell might have tried to appear more mainstream here (though having to deal with her attitudes about sex - which, of course, her teabagger friends think is unfair) but she wouldn't be a teabagger if she isn't gonna create some kind of dirt to sling. . .that's just their style. I sincerely hope Coons is prepared to handle anything and everything, especially all of the manufactured crap that is sure to come along from that campaign.

By the way - I saw somewhere online that O'Donnell raised $1.4 million in the first day from teabagger sympathizers and billionaire boosters around the country. Will Coons be able to hold his own on the money side?

17. Good question about the cash.
But just after the primaries, Coons had $1 million COH, while O'Donnell had only $20K. You can figure that right now they are about even. Another thing to consider: Coons will be helped by the DSCC, while O'Donnell gets nothing from the RSCC.

Regardless, I'm sure O'Donnell with have all the money she wants. Now that the SCOTUS has opened the floodgates, people like the Koch brothers will give her boatloads.

10. OMG. . we MUST find this video and/or transcript!!!
One commenter on ABC's web site said: "Look up O'Donnell's interview with O'Reilly from a year or two ago. The woman said that stem cell research has produced mouse/human hybrids that were mice with human brains. She actually said and believed that. The woman just believes whatever she wants, no facts or reality necessary."
