Racist FR discussion (self-inflicted acid attack)
They aren't racists though....

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2582660/posts

"wonder if whites will ever wake up? Oh that’s right it would be racist to wake up.:

"It was a love crime. See, the perp did it because she loved the ideology that provided the basis for this seemingly random act of love.

Why, even flying airplanes into skyscrapers, killing thousands, is a love crime. The MoHamHeads that did it were just expressing their love for their desert moon god, allah, by killing thousands of infidels and themselves as human sacrifices to their malevolent pagan desert idol."

"Since the perp has skin of color, DU is ignoring this crime."

"Notice the sketch is a politically-correct image of a black woman that doesn’t really look black (white skin, thin elegant nose, etc.)?"

“For some reason, I had this feeling I needed to buy sunglasses,” Storro said. “That’s Jesus, for sure.”
Praise Jesus! For those who don't believe in miracles - there's one right there. You can see the outline on her face where she was wearing the glasses.

1. Or she is saying she did it to herself because she is scared of who did it.
And that is a terrible thing to happen to anyone.

6. Well, no
They police found so many inconsistencies with her story and were suspicious of the "splash pattern" and etc that they started questioning her and then she confessed that she did it herself.

7. It sounds improbable someone would do that to themselves

8. It sound improbable that people would cut themselves or
kill themselves or carve a backward B in their faces but people do crazy things.

12. if she was so scared why was she going to go on Oprah and cancelled when
the police found problems with her story and she was going to have to admit what she did.

2. Just for clarity, for those of us who didn't see the original story...
This is about an "acid attack" that was actually self-inflicted by the victim.

(Having not seen the story, I'd thought the "self-inflicted acid attack" was a charactrization of the visit to FR to see this thread there. Didn't know it was meant literally until I saw the other thread.)

10. Although you're making me feel really old
Emily Litella was a Gilda Radner (may she rest in peace) character on Saturday Night Live. She was a reporter who would often rant on and on about a topic that she obviously misunderstood - when it was pointed out (usually by the brilliant Jane Curtain) that she was wrong, she would look straight into the camera, smile and say "never mind". Those were the very best days of SNL.

11. A Gilda Radner character on SNL
"Emily" would begin a rant ("What's all this fuss about violins on television?"), and it was only after ranting on for a while that someone would point out her misunderstanding. "Well, that's very different," she'd say. "Nevermind." It was always very funny stuff (and I think some of it can be found on youtube).

R.I.P., Gilda.
