When she ran against then-Sen. Joe Biden in 2008, Christine O'Donnell thought the future Vice President was tapping her phone lines, a former campaign manager for the now-Delaware GOP Senate nominee told Politico.

Kristin Murray, who was one of several campaign managers for the O'Donnell during that race, said the candidate broached the subject of phone security in June 2008 when they were discussing cell phone plans.

"She told me that she thought Joe Biden tapped her phone line," Murray told Politico.

O'Donnell -- a critic of nude sunbathing -- also hatched a plan to give out tens of thousands of two-ounce suntan lotion packets with clever slogans like "Don't Get Burned By Higher Taxes."

She asked her staff to compile a 10-page document examining how such packets could shake up the race, several members of O'Donnell's 2008 team told Politico.

David Keegan, who served as O'Donnell's financial officer, called the idea irresponsible.

"And half the people in the street thought she was throwing condoms out of the truck," he added -- not quite the image a woman who doesn't think prophylactics will stop AIDS wants to send.

Seriously, we didn't see Joe once in our state back in 2008 and you know we were ok with that. We realized there was a good chance that Biden was going to be elected as Vice President and in reality we voted 65%-35% that we wanted our governor to pick the next senator from Delaware than to stick us with that whackadoo.

Since the Bidens OWN DELAWARE..OWN MIND YOU....he knew Mike Castle would beat the pants off him so he decided not to run. But it just shows he strength of O'Donnell because SHE beat Mike Castle when Biden's son would not be able to...straight from the mouth of the bunch of republicans at fox...I heard it with my own ears. I was skipping thru the channels and accidental heard Biden and stopped to listen to what they had to say. Gee whiz...O'Donnell is more powerful than a speeding bullet.
