Yes, I know it's not a great Democratic year, but this is crazy. Tom Coburn isn't even this nutty and he won OK by less than that.

6. I am afraid so. Scary isn't it. Someone a few days ago posted how what happened in the thirties in
Germany could happen here. The nazi party did not start out as the majority in Germany

11. I have posted this over and over.
The republicans redrew the district she has and if you check you will see it is the most gerrymandered district in the whole USA> It encompasses only the republican areas of Minneapolis. This is the district where Phewlenty overcame a 100,000 deficit in the last election to beat Greene. No body can explain HOW> BUT be advised if she wins this time she won't win again. Because Minnesota lost a representative in the last census. Her district has already been set up to be redrawn and divided into the two Democratic districts on either side of her. She will be gone for good.

You can not believe the make up of her district. I don't think any Democrats are registered there. And for her to only lead by nine is something. At the Fair this year most of the people in her district was slurring and panning her. They are mad that she runs around the country, does not do anything for them and acts like the kook she really is. I am so glad she will be gone gone gone. And Clark might just really pull this one off.

13. This is an extremely gerrymandered district.
It looks like a snake.

It is a blue collar, redneck and racist and/or rabidly anti-abortion Catholic area with a disproportionate number of low-lives on the northern outskirts of the Twin Cities. I have lived around these people for most of my life and literally live just outside of her district in a very highly Democratic neighborhood. They are simplistic in their thinking but think they are geniuses. Their way of life is the only way and everyone else has something wrong with them. I don't have a very high opinion of them as you can see, and the best day of my life was when I started working in the cities and realized not everyone is as dumb as a box of rocks.

There are a lot of small town people in her district that have not roamed much outside of their area except to go north for fishing and hunting and except for that one time they practically ran down anyone in the way as they drove to Minneapolis to see their idol Saint Sarah Palin.

These are not thinking people. There has been some recent construction of middle class housing in her district where people who work in the cities have moved into. I thought might push her numbers down, but I guess there aren't enough to make the difference.

2. Michelle Bachmann: proof that Minnesotans in her district aren't just social drinkers...
but full-blown alcoholics.

4. There's some really crazy in Minnesota...
The Wild is the only NHL team that links to Hockey Ministries, a fundamentalist Christian organisation that uses hockey as a vehicle to spread its deceitful agenda, on its team website. Thankfully, hockey is immune from a lot of the crap that we see in basketball, football, and baseball because most leagues are dominated by people from Canada, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe, places where religious fundamentalism is socially unacceptable in most circles.

9. hey, where's that celebrated anti incumbent fervor in this deserving case?
Could that be as fake as the whole idea of a "liberal media?"

10. MN is such a paradox.
Hard to believe that Bachmann and Franken can be elected in the same state. The best and the worst...Minnesota.

15. Over someone not outrageous enough to get on national TV, of course.
But someone younger and prettier, so she's going to have to work for it.
