Punishment at school.... OLD SCHOOL punishment (funny post)

So our little girl got in trouble the other day- talking in line going to recess

The punishment?

Take a lap

TAKE A LAP!! That is so old school!!!
My girl: "It was a loooong lap" :rofl:
She had to walk around the basketball courts in the playground.

Turns out this is the standard at all the neighbouring schools. Her "boyfriend" had to take 5 laps one day at his school.


So when they get home Mom tells me the story as we are making dinner in the kitchen and says, "Ask her if she cried"

Me: "Did you cry?"
the girl (from the dining room while setting the table): "No Dad.....*sigh* ...pause... I sucked it up"

:bounce: YES!!!!! "sucked it up" YES!!! PARENTING!!!

this is going ot be so much FUN. cool they use take a lap. my oldest got in trouble up to high school for talking. that was it. write 50 X's, 100 X's.... i will not... that was his worst punishment on the talking. never got in trouble for anything else
