Unfortunately, I don't think enough people were familiar with that to actually catch their meaning with the new logo. Just my opinion.

thing. The center of the image retreats, too.
I just spent the last month designing logos at a pick up gig, and it's not easy. But for what they likely paid, this one doesn't look very strong to me, anyway. It does mimic the (D) after candidates' names on ballots. Maybe that's the real point.
