1. I'm starting to hear a lot of backlash from cousins in California |
|
who are picking it up from friends and neighbors. Apparently, spending 119 million bucks on blitz advertising for months on end is not that great an idea. People start getting sick of you and want to get you out of the public eye as quickly as possible.
Fools and their money...
I hope my cousins are correct about this and Whitman retires to some pleasure spot, sadder, wiser, and a hell of a lot poorer.

3. The constant barrage of ads becomes VERY annoying |

AND people resent the hell out of the notion that the governorship can be bought. The more that voters become aware of her obscene personal spending on her campaign, the more likely they are to vote against her.

8. Brown just put up a refreshing ad |
|
over the last few days. There is also the Meg nose-growing-liar ad that started running, I think, early last week. It's good to see Brown in the game, and with great timing, imo. Nut-meg is so gawd damned annoying - to everyone. Even right wing radio hate-hosts can't stand her.

I would buy land and build a headquarters for our county party. Of course, I would also stipulate that they couldn't sell the land or building without my or representative's approval.
Then I would move the hell out of Indiana back to Wisconsin.

9. How many free clinics would that sponsor? |
|
If I were a millionaire, that's what I'd be sponsoring.
And that wouldn't be a bad history for a Dem candidate.

then after kicking around the oceans of the world for awhile, I would have a better idea how to give it all away.
Because, really, who needs that much?
