This take our country back crap
From whom exactly? Americans voted for the Democratic Party.

Democrats need to hammer this home - ReTHUGS do not own America. America is not theirs to take back. The people should decide who rules at any given time. Fuck all ReTHUGS and TEEbaggers. Fuck you Sarah Palin - you stupid ignorant fuck!!

Because really, and that's what drives their emotions.

Hell, they might have been realy liberal before, but Obama's Presidency turned them to the dark side.

It's mainly a hatefest on the fact that our President does not have Blonde Hair and Blue eyes.

Teabaggers - OK: If the president, instead of being Barack Hussein Obama was Barrington Hugh Olbus.

An Anglo Saxon male.

You would view this completely differently.

5. It is a sales pitch, just like the pitch you hear from a Used Car Salesman...
Edited on Sat Sep-18-10 05:25 PM by Ozymanithrax
Though the Republican Party is more like Used Condom salesmen.

Everything is implied and they trust that noone will engage their higher faculties to ask "Save us from what?"

It is an emotional pitch.

19. Sick, maybe. But appeals to the emotion are really common...
And since this actually apeals to quite a few people, should that sick apply to people who accept it without thinking, or should we just call them lazy.

An appeal to the emotions is supposed to shunt past logic, and it works. Sick, it might be. But such appeals can be very affective.

Americans afford to be lazy in these times given their own economic and social reality. To buy these crap is to vote against their own interests.

30. Because people over simply and accept what they hear...
They are concerned about their jobs. That causes anxiety. They accept the meaning of the phrase as something that applies to their anxiety.

The words are meaningless on purpose to allow people filled with anxiety to give them meaning. Politics in a lot of people works like religion. They do not question things, even if it is against their own interest.

Democratic victory as that a black man was elected President of the US. I want more of it back, though...I don't like to share with those idiots.

24. Much of it is code for
the big, scary black man in the White House. They'd probably use another word than black man. They want to go back to the fantasy world of 1950s Americana depicted on TV in 'Father Knows Best'. They have difficulty accepting that world never really existed.

Take my country away from me? You have fought every day to do that.

I'm starting to get pissed, after being apathetic with the bullshit "bipartisanship" effort from the Dems.

That's not a good sign for your side.
