6. They do not love America
We have troops in the field. Second guessing the Commander in Chief in a time of war gives aid and comfort to Al Qaeda.

15. You are SO right ...
If less people second guessed our Leaders than maybe we would have WON in Viet-Nam instead of pulling out like we did. Sure another hundred thousand American lives might have been lost or destroyed - but look at how many good American soldiers died in vain for that war.

I hat to say it but I think you are right and if less American would have tried to second guess Bush /Cheney less Americans would have died and we might have even stabilized Iran by now. Instead just look at the mess that President Obama now has to deal with!

Private citizens or newspaper second guessing the Commander in Chief amounts to Sedition is what I say!

13. If Palin were elected President ...
Edited on Sat Sep-18-10 08:44 PM by Techn0Girl
She'd probably put all her high finance friends in charge of the Treasury .

She'd probably let the Unions and Progressives know where they stand by having one of her cabinet tell them to go screw themselves.

She'd marginalize, divide and make make fun of any group much more to the left of herself.

She'd talk seriously about "Social Security Reform " and would probably gut benefits for the poorest of us.

She'd not only not revoke - but actually make STRONGER Bush's rendition laws.

That Corporatist sell-out would probably make sure that we never ever had a viable public option in place - HAH it wouldn't surprise me if she would cut a deal with Big Pharma and end up raising the rates for all of us!

And the War - forget about it - that warmonger would probably keep 100,000 of our young men and woman in harm's way just to satisfy and get money from the military-industrial bloc.

It wouldn't surprise me if that fruitcake actually passed a law making her able to kill any American citizen at her whim ( sounds crazy - but that's what we're dealing with ).

Count your blessings that we don't have HER in office !!

17. What about proper display of the flag?
I don't think that includes making a shirt out of it.

They always want to defend the flag and scream bloody murder if it is burned so why is it OK to turn the flag into a shirt?
