Well, maybe not all. There could have been exceptions for Taiwan, South Korea, Switzerland, and Australia.

Who needs direct flights? People can use airlines operating in other countries, along with trains and other modes of transportation.

Aren't Africa and Eurasia connected with more than the kind of thin land bridge that connects from Turkey at its border with Bulgaria, past Istanbul/Constantinople to Ankara?

Taiwan, South Korea, Switzerland, and Australia.

However, there would be no motivation to create ceremonial, window-dressing airport-related anti-terrorism treaties with countries such as: Lebanon, Syria, Russia, etc.

Also, there might be less motivation for domestic airport security rules based on any single, idiosyncratic attempted terrorist attack somewhere in the world. Only terrorist activities taking place in Taiwan, South Korea, Switzerland, or Australia would need to be monitored for the purpose of maintaining an effective airport-related anti-terrorism policy.
